Some folks can't escape politics as policies can and do hurt folks. Often they are designed to maintain the status quo

It's interesting what gets labelled as "political" or "controversial", because these labels are often misused simply as silencing tactics.

For example, if a prominent politician seriously suggests that people need to inject bleach into themselves to stay healthy, that is clearly insanely dangerous. It's not a political opinion if you condemn such a statement.
